Shipping Policy

At The Vinyl Universe, we pack and ship every record with extreme care using specialized vinyl mailers to ensure your items arrive safely.

• Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays).

• Shipping Rates & Delivery Times:

  • Standard Shipping: Estimated 3 to 7 business days (standard flat rate / calculated at checkout).

  • Expedited Shipping: Estimated 1 to 3 business days (rate calculated at checkout).

• Order Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow your package.

• Damaged Packages: Vinyl records are fragile. If your package arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours at support@thevinyluniverse.com with photos of the damaged box and item so we can immediately issue a replacement or refund.

Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your music. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return policy.

• Return Window: You may return eligible items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

• Condition Requirements:

  1. New/Sealed vinyl records and merchandise must be unopened and in original condition.

  2. Audio equipment and accessories must include all original packaging, cables, and manuals.

• Return Process:

  1. Email us at support@thevinyluniverse.com with your order number and the item you wish to return.

  2. We will provide return instructions and our return shipping address:

• Return Shipping Fees: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective, wrong item sent, or damaged in transit).

• Restocking Fee All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

• Final Sale Items Only Used Vinyl are final sale items — all other products in our store are eligible for return within the 7-day window, subject to the conditions above. 

• Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
